Milo learned how to go down the stairs...the right way!

Trip to Evanston

In June, we visited my family in Evanston and had tons of fun.




We went to the Prospect Show and Milo had fun riding his cousin's sheep.
We can't wait until he's old enough to do "Mutton Busting" at the rodeos.





He enjoyed watching the sheep show also.





Milo wasn't the only one finding his inner "country" boy.
Great sheep-showing skills, Matt. You would win first place for sure.

After the Prospect Show, we hung out with my brother and his family at his company's BBQ.

Milo enjoyed playing with his dad and cousins on all of the blow-up toys.


















To end this fun trip, Milo got to play on the swing set at my parents' home.
He just kept giggling and giggling.

Lake Powell

In June, we went to Lake Powell and spent a week on the houseboat with Matt's family...and their good friends, the Jackmans. It was so much fun. It was Milo's first time there and he LOVED it!

It was a bit chilly so Milo gasped when he first got in the water.



But then he loved it...splashing, kicking and smiling!



He had so much fun in the water.



...and doing other things like pulling all of the DVDs out of the box. (This was his favorite thing to do on this trip...besides eating and playing in the water, of course.)
